VRR not showing up under display settings... Very confused

Hey guys... I JUST got a new LG 65 G3 tv.. loving it...

The only problem im having is I can not find ANYWAY to enable VRR...
Im using 2.1 hdmi cables from my PC (nvidia rtx 3080ti, to my receiver, from my earc out from reciever to earc hdmi on my tv ( all cables are hdmi 2.1)

Running windows 11.. have all windows updates.. monitor settings have hdr on and refresh rate set to 120 hz .
Gforce has the latest drivers
Running i7 10700k

My Yamaha A4a receiver is set to 8k mode ( to enable HDR etc)

My LG tv in game mode does not have the box checked for VRR

Is this my receiver causing a problem or is there something i need for my pc to be able to do it?

Also may be worth mentioning... i never had hdr or VRR before... so maybe something settings wise?

The setting is in Settings -> Display -> Graphics -> Default graphics settings. Is this where you're looking at?
