vSphere Client: FSMO Roles SOLVED

I'm trying to transfer my FSMO roles over to my second domain controller but when I view the operations master I get the text 'ERROR' where the current roles holder should be. I can ping both domain controllers so there is a connection but still it is not allowing the transfer.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated as i am really stuck and Google is not helping me

I fixed this by removing the domain controller and reinstalling it again. I mustn't of established the connection when I previously installed it.
