Vuze VR 3D, 360-Degree Camera Now Available

So has anyone here thought about using this for real-estate? seems like a good idea to take 3D video tours of homes and just have your clients slap on a gear VR, then just take them to the houses they liked. Anyways, that's my random thought of the day.
 


Yeah, absolutely. And I'm sure enterprising folks can think of dozens of other applications. That's why this kind of sort-of affordable VR content creation has the potential to be big. Think of how YouTube changed *everything* years ago, and how GoPro changed the game, and now this kind of camera stands to change things yet again.
 
If the quality is acceptable, I view $800 as very affordable for even dedicated hobbyists, and dirt-cheap for a professional. I've mostly ignored VR video, sticking to games and experiences, but I had a good time in Jaunt VR yesterday. The Always Sunny in Philadelphia video stands out as one of the better ones, and I'm not even a huge fan of the show.
