I was planning on getting a VX2025wm pretty soon due to its good reviews and decent price tag. But then I went on viewsonics website and saw a new model the VX2035. I pricegrabber'd it and it was considerably cheaper. I was looking for reviews on it and haven't found anything. I'm assuming its newer and was wondering if anybody knows anything about this monitor, or what the difference between the two is? Thanks in advance!

I have also been trying to find info on the 2035 and what other people have said is... based on the lower viewing angles and faster response time, it uses a different panel (TN?) than the 2025. TN panels are not going to have as good image quality as some of the other panel types.

TN monitors are considered 'gamer' monitors because they usually sacrifice image quality for faster response times. But certain monitors like the vx2025wm at ~$300 seem to be almost as fast without sacrificing the quality (or you could goto the $600 NEC 20WMGX2 which looks great and has still has very good response time)
