vx922 artifacts -new monitor-

I just got my brand new vx922. And have only used BIOS/windows setup so far...but every now and then, small artifacts pop up, sometimes flickering slightly, and they go away or change position if the screen changes. does anyone know whats going on and is it fixable. is it possible its just a case of running the monitor in its native res etc? or do I have a defective monitor already!!!

My first guess is that you're GPU is overclocked beyond it's capacity. Cool it down a bit, it might solve all of your problems.
