My friend has a roccat aimo 120, and he is having strange issue with it where when they are using WASD to move in games, sometimes their D key just doesn't work when those other keys are being held down, either it doesn't register at all or it is delayed by like half a second to 1 second ish...
Other things to consider, when they do a cold boot after the PC not being on for a short while, the issue seems to stop for a while and then come back after some use (few hrs ish).
Few other things:
They have tried doing a "clean boot" so only the Microsoft services are active in the background and nothing else, this make the issue less noticeable but over time became more noticeable again.
They've also tried wiping both drivers and firmware and reinstalled those, as well as tried using the keyboard with and without the official roccat software (no changes noticeable from this).
They have also used a different USB port, which also made no difference.
It also very, very rarely happens to space bar too.
The reason for going through all of these steps instead of replacing the keyboard or whatever, is because I do not see how it can be the actual keyboard or the key switch itself since sometimes the key press is delayed, which wouldn't make sense if it was the key switch, if it was the key switch it would just not work at all right?
To add onto that point, since it only happens when other keys are being held down theirs another reason that I don't believe it's the keyboard itself and that it's some weird software/driver issue with windows itself.
If it means anything off the top of my head, his specs are:
asus rog maximus x hero motherboard
i7 8700k
gtx 1080 ti
windows 10 64 bit? home/pro cant remember
16gb ram i believe
