W live mail keeps stopping when an attachment is added

Windows live mail with Windows 7 -When I try to send email with an attachment the programme stops running and restarts. Any ideas ?

Does it restart or does it simple stop for a while? It takes some time to upload an attachment to the server!

It restarts but I always lose the mail I have written. It's getting progressively worse. It used to happen occasionally but now all the time. Message reads W Live Mail has stopped working. W is checking for an answer to this problem !

Any other problems in an other application? Does it only happen with attachment and how big are the attachment?
