So many problems that all occurred after I moved / road tripped down across the country with my setup. Everything was fine the day before.

Here goes:

I go to turn on my computer and I get "preparing automatic repair"... it does nothing. It goes into a boot loop.
All my hardware is detected properly. I have removed RAM sticks and interchanged them. Nothing. I removed all my M.2 drives (including the one with windows on it). Nothing. I re-did my windows 11 installation bootable USB, it doesn't load properly and then going into a boot loop. I have tried CMD commands such as bcdedit and sfc /scannow. Also nothing.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do? At this point I just want a working computer and to reinstall windows fresh... but I can't even do that

Specs:
MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK
Ryzen 7800X3D
64GB Corsair RAM
(3) M.2 SSDs (windows on samsung 980 pro)
RTX 3090

Edit: I have UEFI enabled in BIOS. I have tried both with secure boot and non secure boot. The USB installation just freezes and doesn't do anything.
Edit 2: the BOOT EZ DEBUG LED light is illuminating on my motherboard. I have tried taking out the M.2 that has windows on it but i still can't access the windows installation
Edit 3: exhausting all options I tried doing a secure erase+ on the m.2 with windows on it. again, the windows usb installation just boots into a purple screen and that's it

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU. Include it's age as well if it's been in service for a while. How did you fabricate your bootable USB installer for your OS? Are you able to get into and remain in BIOS indefinitely? BIOS version for your motherboard? How are you cooling the processor on the build? Have you tried loosening the pressure on the cooler's mount and then tried again with the POST sequence/OS install? As for your motherboard, did you try with a clear CMOS prior to OS install?

Edit 3: exhausting all options I tried doing a secure erase+ on the m.2 with windows on it. again, the windows usb installation just boots into a purple screen and that's it

You might want to be patient and let it do it's thing.

You could also manually set the primary boot device to be the USB installer, and make sure you only have the SSD you intend to install the OS onto as the only drive on the motherboard.

Hey! Thank you for the warm welcome :)

Sorry about that. I have a Seasonic Focus GX-850 PSU that is less than 1.5 years old. I can boot into BIOS indefinitely and change all the settings I want.

In regards to my USB situation, I first tried it with my USB that has W11 installed via RUFUS. Didn't work. I then reformatted it and tried again with Mac (using home-brew and wimlib (followed a youtube video), and that didn't work. I then grabbed a 3.1 USB and did the same thing. Everything was successful in that regard.

Cooling is done via an EVGA AIO. Cooling has no issues and the CPU stays at around 38 degrees when in BIOS.

I just completely took off the AIO, took out the CPU to check for any damages (bent pins, burn marks, etc) and found nothing. I reseated the CPU and the computer is still doing the same thing. Boots into USB with a purple screen of nothing. Sometimes it boot loops, sometimes it doesn't.

I have tried doing a clear CMOS prior to all of this as well.

Just an update for anyone:

I installed windows thru a VM on my MacBook and did a proper installation via Rufus. Still nothing. Boots into the USB with a purple screen and nothing else. I'm 99.99% sure it's not a hardware issue... but I don't know what.

SOLVED!!!

I had to unplug all my SATA connectors from the motherboard (one for my hard drive, two for my SATA SSDs) and then it booted right into windows installation. Then I replugged them each one by one and it still works! So I don't know why it caused that.

It sucks that I erased my SSD as I had some important stuff on there :/
