W2343T 23" Possible Damage???

Hello, I have a general question about the LG monitor I just purchase. When I was unpacking the screen I smudged the screen with my fingers, I then proceeded to cleean the screen with a soft t shirt, when I was cleaning the screen, with the monitor on, I must of applied too much pressure with my finger because I dispersed the liquid between the layers so much I saw white streaks when cleaning it, which instantly returned to the way it was. This happend a couple of times before I realized that I might of damaged it. I wasn't pressing that hard but hard enough to see thick white streaks, but like I said returned to normal instantly. Could this of damaged the screen short term or long term? I know lcd's are delicate but how delicate acctually are they? Manufacturers must have designed them with a good degree of durability or their service centers would be packed with still under warranty items. Could this of damaged the screen short term or long term? Thank you.

If it returned to normal, it should be fine. I wouldn't press on it that hard all the time, but I doubt you damaged it at all.
