I have a multi OS machine using a removeable storage rack to switch OSs. The mobo is a MSI KT3 Ultra ARU. The machine has an Athlon XP 2000 running 1731MHz (no special cooling) and an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro card using the newest Omega drivers on both OSs. It has 1024MBs of DDR333. I had to reinstall both OSs due to a virus, stupidity and bad luck. I used both old OSs to run either Combat Flight Sim 2 or 3 and Flight Sim 2004. I have not been able to get these games to work on either new system successfully. In Win98SE, Combat Flight Sim 2 will get scrambled graphics during some part of a mission and I have to reboot one or more times to get it running again. In W2K Pro, Combat Flight Sim 2 will lockup if to many objects are in the mission and FS2004 will reboot if I try to make a control settings change. I have the sound card (SB16) installed in slot 4, the NIC in slot 3 and the TV card in slot 5 of the mobo. I have the IRs set to: 1/5=Auto, 2=10, 3=Auto and 4=9. I have done what little I know to elimate any conflict between the sound card and the graphics card. However, a conflict may be causing the graphics problem. Every thing works all right except during game playing. Does any one have some input to help with this problem
