W2K & Win98SE boot probs

I have a feeling others have had this one, but I feel I'm halfway to the answer.

Win98SE and all hardware stuff installed fine.
Followed W2K install instructions (allow me to choose own partiton etc.)
On re-boot I get message on BSOD:

***STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF2463848, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE

I tried a boot from CD-ROM and it got me farther, but it then told me I had no fixed DDs. I know I have and they work fine.

2 x IBM 60GXP 40GB - RAID 0

Is it the HPT370 Win9x driver which is causing this?

All suggestions welcome as I can easily re-format and take a different set of installation steps.

Cheers!

yeah, its your raid controller that is giving you the trouble. did you select to install a device controller during setup? If so, are you using the latest driver for your controller? pretty common problem in win2k with raid controllers. try some other drivers, if you can.

ignore everything i say

I pressed F6 and it prompted me for a 3.5" floppy with the driver on it. I didn't have the disk, which was getting me confused. I simply copied the file from my mobo CD onto a FD and hey presto, I'm now installing W2K.

Cheers!
