Dear Tom's hardware users,
For the past month or so I have had a problem with a recurring bluescreen problem. It only occurs when I put my laptop to sleep or to hibernate. When I click on sleep, the screen turns off but the computer never completely goes to "sleep" (or hibernate). Therefore I need to hard reset, i.e. pressing the power button for a couple of seconds, and the computer shuts off. This is really frustrating as when I need to go to lectures I will have to reboot in the class, instead of just waking up my laptop from its sleep or hibernate state.
When I hard reset, it says Windows hasn't started correctly and so I start it normally again. When I login, it gives me the error "Windows has recovered form an unexpected shutdown", and gives me this:
Problem signature:

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\120910-21637-01.dmp
C:\Users\Olivier\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-47580-0.sysdata.xml
I used the PC Pitstop Driver Scanner (found it in the Windows 7 tips stickied thread in the General Section) to scan for outdated drivers but it says that my system is up to date.
I'm on a Dell XPS Studio 1640, running Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Any advice is much appreciated.
Thank you.
