W7 freezes at windows logo.

My computer freezes on window logo. I can go into F8 and select to "boot up using last successful boot up. It will then boot up. How can I correct this?

Freezes at the logo are usually related to a driver or hardware. Try disconnecting any external devices like printer, camera, etc, and see if it boots correctly. Check for any updates at your board site including BIOS. You can also try doing the repair install at the recovery screen or from your install cd if you contnue to have problems getting in to windows.
