w7 loads DOS from cd and detects cd, Will not detect disk.

I loaded w7 on a clean disk uneventfully. I then added the old winxp disk pntp the os with the intent ofr copying the old data. I did inactivate the xp os. After a few days I got the blue screen . It seemed to have no error messages but random data,on the blue screen. I got it working with windows startup repair. The same sequence has occurred twice more but this time will not start and it will not read any disk.. What to do?

Sounds like your main drive died. Can you download a diagnostic disk and burn it to cd/dvd to test with? Even the drive manufacturers diagnostic disk would be enough.
