[SOLVED] Wait for 30-series Nvidia Cards?

I was gonna buy a 2070 super, but there are rumors of a new series Nvidia cards called Ampere. They are rumored to be cheaper and more performance.
Should I wait for them to come out or buy 2070 super now?

They are due in the second half of 2020 but no dates yet. With every new generation you get more performance for less.

Heck, I'm using a RX480 8GB (same performance as a GTX1060 6GB) and my monitor is 1440p. I'm waiting for 2020 gen stuff. Better ray tracing and 7nm.

If you start waiting you will always wait. Any decent system you buy right now will be good for a few years and when you have to upgrade after that then the generation you wanted to wait for is long gone.
