Wait for Coffee Lake, get 1800X or 7700K?

Hello!

An online store in my country has a 15% discount on the Ryzen 7 1800X for the next 24 hours.
I'm interested on buying a new, durable CPU that lasts a lot of years before I need to upgrade (the one I'm currently using is 10+ years old) and I don't know if I should go for an i7 7700k, a 1800X or simply wait for Coffee Lake.

Is Coffee Lake supposed to be coming out in August? Should I wait, get a 7700K instead (although I don't like its high temp spikes at all), or go for the 1800X? I use my PC for gaming at 1080p 144Hz and work (drawing art in Photoshop, rendering tutorial videos once in a while and stuff like that).

I was in the market for a new gaming PC right when Ryzen came out, and the subsequent drama has made me decide to wait to see what Coffee Lake, and possibly even Ryzen 2, are like before buying. My PC (i5-3470) is still chugging along right now so I can afford to wait a bit.

Ryzen has created competition in the CPU field for the first time in years. Intel is caught with their pants down a bit after being lazy for a long time. (Intel's laziness is the reason my i5-3470 which is a billion years old can still play most modern games fine at 100+ fps with my GTX 1070.) This situation will bear fruit in the form of much larger jumps in tech as the two companies actually try to out do each other again finally. If you buy now, you are buying BEFORE we've reaped the benefits of this competition. If you wait a bit, you can buy the results of some of the competition in the form of improved products. Worst case scenario, even if Coffee Lake is a complete dud, Ryzen 1 will be even cheaper at that point due to being older and AMD continuing to try to eat market share.
