I am currently looking to pretty much re-do my whole computer just for vr, I have a few options.
option 1) keep my i5 3570k and just add 2 970's into the build, then later on when pascal comes out, replace the processor for an i7 and get the highest tier pascal card (sli) [I would be replacing motherboard and processor with pascal because pascal will be requiring motherboards with certain requirements.]
or
option 2) get an i7 6700k right now and 2 gtx 980ti but not have the option for pascal in the future.
I really need the best experience for VR and I want to be future proofed. The thing is, im worried about pascal being extremely revolutionary with its performance and making the 900 series cards look like a potato compared to a lamborghini. Any opinions?
