apparently there's a new 560 Ti coming out. Will this be worth it to wait or should I just get the twin frozr II 2 gb version? Will those extra cores make that much of a difference?

As it stanbds now, the current factory OC'd 560 (900Mhz version) which selsl for the same price as the reference versions substantially tops the factory OC'd 6950 ....in SLI / CF, the lead is over 100fps (862 to 759) ....the twin 560's even beat twin 6970's (source Guru3D). This new one looks beastly but was totally expected. The 560 had so much OC headroom, this was inevitable. Seems it...

damnit... 4 days too late... they definitely planned that! This move, depending on if the price really is on par with the current 560Ti, will mean the 6950 wouldn't stand a chance now, and it would drive the prices down, hell, if might be too close to the 6970/570 to the point people stop buying them and the prices on THEM goes down as well!

Black Friday better have some really damn good deals for me to buy an SLI/CFX setup knowing full well than 4 days later something that can "crush" it for the same p damn price.

1-2 months I can deal with, but 4 days?! aaarrrggghhh

nothing too urgent I'm just looking for my build to be under a 1000. Where I'm at now, I could buy a 570 or 6970 but I felt like saving some money. So it's basically between the 570, 6970, 560 Ti, and 6950. Obviously the pricier ones are better, but I'm just wondering if their worth it for the price and I'll be gaming on a 1080P screen. I'm getting a 2500k and looking to sli/crossfire in the future

Seems it kinda dooms the 570 tho as the 570 (873 fps) only beat the 900Mhz 560's (862 fps) by 11 fps in SLI.
