Im building an AMD based system in the MSI B450M Gaming Plus mobo. Already got the case and power supply, now Im looking to fill the cpu, ram and hd slots. Primarily using this rig for light/medium gaming, Path of Exile, maybe some racing titles. I just saw this past Sunday the Ryzen 5 2400g at Frys was 139.99. Should I pull the trigger, or with the 3000 series coming should I wait. Also, what luck have you all had with ram, and sdd's? Thanks!

Solution
I recently built an Ryzen 5 2600 system and it's fine. You can wait if you want, but the 2nd gen Ryzen CPUs do well. Some people are still using 1000 series. With CES just around the corner, you could probably wait until then and most likely have a look at whether Ryzen 3 is the best for you.
