Wake from Bluetooth?

Is it possible to turn my PC on from Bluetooth? I'm trying to set it up so when I turn on my switch pro controller my PC turns on. Thanks.

It would only be possible if the machine is only in Sleep Mode and that the Bluetooth setting is given permission to wake the PC. I have to admit I'm not familiar with the term "switch pro controller". Please enlighten me on that bit.

I'm not certain it would work but I'll try it later and if I can wake my PC from my mobile 'phone I'll post back and tell you.

I'm struggling to make this work. I cant find a Property page that allows me to let the PC wake from sleep. I can allow the Bluetooth device in the PC to turn itself off to save power but the "Wake on" option is greyed out.

Hopefully, higher minds than mine will come up with a better method.

EDIT: My own higher stupidity cut in on my dog-walk and I cut it short to carry out an experiment. Of course, I couldn't find it before because I needed to create a PAN for the Bluetooth to fly right. I'm still having a few more problems but think I can sort this out.

Any updates? What is creating a PAN for Bluetooth? My option to wake is also grayed out. And the switch pro controller is Nintendo's Bluetooth controller originally for the switch but works with PC.

A PAN (Personal Area Network) is the missing bit I couldn't figure out so early in the morning. When you create that, the Property offering "Allow this device to wake the PC" will be visible.

Go to Control Panel>Network and Sharing Centre then click on (Set up a Broadband, etc ..... Quick Access and that last bit is what you need to accept.

Once the BT device can scan for the PC and find it, you're nearly there.

Can you please be more descriptive? I don't see anything for PAN nor did you describe how this setting up a personal area network will allow my PC to wake from sleep when I connect my controller. The option to wake my PC from sleep with my Bluetooth adapter is grayed out, and when I tried to enable this option through the CMD with administrative rights, it wouldn't enable.
