Hey there,

I am trying to setup wake on lan with Taichi x399.
It seems that it is only working when my pc is on "sleep".

Is there a way to make it wake up from "shutdown"?

Thanks

Solution
This would be in your BIOS if it works. Both settings are listed in your manual as a WOL function for the computer.

In the BIOS. The WOL setting is in Advanced > PCIE Devices Power On

There's also WOL in Boot > Boot From Onboard LAN
Many thanks. Some settings I do find, some others i dont.
Also the "Boot From Onboard LAN" doesnt work either.

Truth is i never put pc to sleep so I am not sure what might be the problem if I start doing so. Any drawbacks there?

edit: my main workstation has very different options in the network card (realtek vs intel on the other machines). Thing is the main ws blinks orange on the switch when shut down, while others give no light at all. The difference is ofc different configurations but i was wondering if the switch has anything to do with it. Its a dumb switch has no settings and everything is set correct afaik.
Then the other difference is my ws has 1909 win 10 and the slaves have 2004. I dont know if this info gives any more ideas.
