I have a windows 10 laptop hooked up to a docking station. I have the power settings set so we the lid is closed it won't go to sleep when the lid is closed. However, when it does fall asleep after a few hours, I cannot wake it with my wireless USB Logitech keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions on how to fix that? Only way to wake the computer is to open lid and then reclose once awake.

Solution

If you are absolutely sure that you disabled hibernate (default is about an hour after sleep), then just go to the device manager, find your input devices, and for each go to properties, then power, and make sure "let this device wake my computer" is enabled.

It is set to sleep and not hibernate. I appreciate the response!

I will double check the hibernate setting and then I will look at device manager. Where is that hibernate setting that is defaulted to an hour after sleep?
