Discusses Sprint buying up MCI (formerly Worldcom).
That would be ironic.

You may recall MCI Worldcom tried to buy Sprint back in 1999, when it
would have cost Worldcom $129 Billion. Today Sprint could be bought for
under $26 Billion with its lower stock price.
The Federal Government refused to allow the buy up go through.

At current stock prices, MCI is worth $4.52 Billion, certainly something
Sprint could afford either by a stock swap, or an Investment Banking
Deal.

Know what's really ironic? You declaring this "discusses Sprint
buying up MCI". The summation of what's said?

"Of course, while some industry watchers say that while Wall Street
would welcome a deal, there's little evidence to suggest that
anything is imminent."
