So I’m currently on vacation, and the internet stopped working when I got home to the apartment I live in (it’s rented). I checked the router by typing the IP address into the search bar, and the WAN status is just stuck on “connecting.” I’ve tried to restart the router over and over, also reset it a few times. It doesn’t work. I’ve tried changing ipaddres, clone Mac addres, no luck.

Solution
Follow the instructions to factory reset it..you may have done that. The router should then have the default ip address and userid/password.

If you can not open a browser window when you put in the ip address of the router it is a strong indicator the router has failed. It could be your pc or the cable so you should try others if that is a option.

Now if you mean you can get into the router but it will not connect to the internet then I would call your ISP.
