I'm on Social Security so I have to make do with an old Logitech trackball.
(I don't want to cripple myself by "upgrading" to a mouse.)
It suddenly started wandering around after I moved the pointer into position.
In WinXp, I can't use the red "X" to close a window because I position the
mouse, let go of the ball, and left-click the "X".
But just as I click it, the pointer moves over so that I wind up minimizing the
window instead.
The only way I can now use my track ball is to move the ball with one hand,
clamp it tightly in position with that hand, and click with the other hand.
Even so, it still wanders just enough very slightly that I can't select areas
on the screen to screen-copy.
Sometimes it helps to lean the trackball over on its left edge.
Does anyone know of a way to ease the little glide points out a little so
that the ball doesn't sit so far back between them?
Thanks
