[SOLVED] Wanna buy a graphics card for my old pc

I've recently bought a monitor with HDMI output, but unfortunately my MB does not have any HDMI input in it.
So I decided to buy a graphics card but I'm not sure which one to pick, any help would be appriciated.


MB - Gigabyte H61M-S1
CPU - Intel I3 3220
Monitor - Samsung S24D332


I'm open to any suggestions, thanks in advance <3

Doesn't sound like you do anything graphically intensive, so any basic modern graphics card would work for output purposes. For example, a GT 1030 .

Yeah, only movies. Will my motherboard support it?

Will be fine. PCIe slots and the add-in cards are essentially forwards and backwards compatible. The only thing to be wary of is perhaps the power supply, and if it is sufficient to power the graphics card.
