Want a new CPU Air Cooler

So currently im running a Arctic Freezer 7 rev2 in my PC:

Case - Sharkoon Vaya
CPU - i5 2500k
MB - Asus P8p67-m

My case apparently supports only Coolers with height up to 15,5cm.

Would for example a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 be a good upgrade? For OC?

Or are there better alternatives.

Noctua makes very good coolers. NH-U9b se2 would be fine.
You could consider cryorig H7 which is only 145mm tall.

As much as I like Noctua, the cryorig H7 would be cheaper and use a quieter 120mm fan.

That one looks really good, but no reputable store has Cryorig brand in my country for some reason.

Would there be some good alternative under 50$?

There are some other coolers with a 120mm fan that are 155mm or smaller.
I can not recall which one.
Possibly the scythe mugen 4.
But, anything that uses a 120mm fan in a tower type configuration should do the job for you.
I imagine that the noctua NH-U9B is more expensive.

I would avoid the top down coolers, they are less effective in a case.

Looking at Scythe Ninja 4, that one might fit.
