Want a refund from asus

I bought an asus rog strix rx 480 oc back in Jan 1 2017. It broke down in April 2018 when rx 480s were unavailable, so they replaced it with an asus dual rx 580 and it had terrible thermals and broke down in August.Now I want a refund as I don't want to take another risk. Can and does asus cut some amount (25-40%) of the refund ?
p.s they did offer me a full refund during the first break down.
p.s i have warranty left till December 31.
should I get another 580 instead ?

the people you need to speak to at asus is there customer relation dept. the csr and managers you talk to whe nyou call cant do the refund it beond there pay grade to do so. also before you call see if your state or country has lemon lays on bad parts. here in the us most of our states do have lemon laws that can help.
