Want computer to lock after 3x's failed password

I have windows vista premium and want a program or a setting to lock the computer after 3x's the password is entered wrong. Any suggestions?

If Microsoft's OS has no option to do so, never heard of any third party software providing such a program.

You need to set an Account Lockout Policy. Make sure that you allow automatic reset of locked out accounts or you could find yourself in trouble.

You probably also want to consider enforcing policies regarding password complexity, minimum length, and maximum and minimum age.
