When connect to PPPoE for internet directly from my PC I can access bot web and LAN and local IP is available to my LAN port but when I am connect via wireless router which is connected to internet through PPPoE connection I can access inter net but cannot access LAN as now router is providing me it DHCP IP and it has WAN connection but no local LAN.

Can any one help me in this regard how to configure router for PPPoE to access both iinternet and local LAN of my internet service provider.(Actually my ISP has some servers to watch movies but when connected via router I cannot access those PCs)

Time out. You need to provide more information and sound a bit confused, unless your ISP limits you to a single device connection.

Does your DSL provider have you using a separate DSL modem and a separate router, or a unified gateway that includes the modem and router, if combined what is the model?

PPPoE is the protocol used by your ISP to connect you to *their* network. Your internal LAN is managed by the router (or router portion of the gateway) and that you use PPPoE should have no impact on your LAN wireless or wired connections.

If your ISP allows you to connect more than one device, you probably just need to work on setting up your wireless correctly and insure that their is no significant interference.

Let me clarify, I ISP is providing services over Ethernet, when the network is connected directly to my PC an IP is assigned to my PC which is 10.10.x.x and at this point I am on a LAN and can access some servers which are hosting web pages to download software and watch movies on LAN. To access "INTERNET" I have to dial a PPPoE connection and on successful connection got another WAN IP address which is like 42.168.X.X Still I can brows my local LAN to download software and watch movies.

But when I connect my network cable to wireless router to share "INTERNET" to other devices like phones etc I got INTERNET but cannot access the LAN connected PCs on 10.10.X.X. WAN port of router got the IP 42.168.X.X but no local IP of 10.10.X.X.

How can I access LAN PCs of 10.10.x.x ?

Hope now the situation is clear to understand.

I will assume that you have asked your ISP about this issue already, although it sounds like they are set up to limit the number of attached devices -- if you have not spoken to your ISP about this are you aware of any rule about using only a single device with some kind of extra package? (not a problem but need to be aware of that point)

What you replied helps (I understand what you have so far), but I have a couple more questions.

Who is your ISP and what model is the router that you mentioned?

Are you required to use any modem or router when connecting only the PC to the ISP, or do you simply attach the Ethernet cable from the ISP to your computer Ethernet port?

How is the PC attached to the router that you mention when it connects to the ISP so that it can also connect to the LAN, just an LAN port on the router with the ISP Ethernet cable to the WAN port?

Does the PC you connect with have a second Ethernet port available?
