want to add new ram

so Hey Guys,
My laptop has 4GB of ram and now I want to add 8GB of ram
and here is a little info of my computer
Processor: Intel(R)core(TM)i3-3120M
CPU@2.50 GHz
Ram:4.00 GB
System type:64 BIT

This would depend on the make/model of the latop and what the motherboard on it will support. Do You have those details?

Do you know the brand of the laptop? Dell? Acer? Hp? Usually on the bottom of the laptop there is a white sticker that has the make and model on it.
