Want to build a business laptop help me.

jefferysummers,

The "best" would depend on the nature of the demands on the system: application, file size, amount of storage, and in general, the level of performance expected. Doing business analytics with huge databases is one thing, but visualization with 3D modeling is a quite different system.

In general, if you'd like a versatile, high performance, and reliable laptop, I'd recommend a Dell Precision M series:

http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/precision-laptops?~ck=anav

> And, you can see there are various levels of CPU, graphics cards, HD's, and etc. If your use is not highly graphical- database, scientific, text there are 15.6" screen versions, but if you're working with CAD, graphic design , the M6800 has a 17.3" screen. If your use is calculation-intensive I'd suggest an AMD Firepro GPU but if you're using CAD /graphics programs by AutoDesk and/or Adobe, a Quadro.

If you say something more about your use: programs, priorities, and the maximum cost, we can help narrow down the specification.

I don't need a high graphic card. I want fastest processing speed. Memory and storage requirement is high for me. The build you describe how much its cost will be?

jefferysummers,

Given the information provided, my first idea is to have: a Dell Precision M4800 (15.6" screen) with an i7-4910MQ (4-core @ 2.9 /3.9Ghz), 32GB RAM, an AMD M5100 (2GB) GPU (AMD Firepro are more calculation oriented than Quadros which are visualization oriented), and a 1TB card SSD. This, on the Dell website costs $3,007.

This is the page on which you may select the configuration:

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=cupmws4800w7p&model_id=precision-m4800-workstation&c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04

Depending on you use, I would recommend a pair of Dell Ultrasharp 24" or 27" monitors, plus a full sized keyboard and mouse to use when in your office. See the photo of this arrangement on the Dell site. I use a pair of 27" monitors as I run several programs at once and I can have useful views of four programs simultaneously.

This combination I believe will provide a strong business / calculation system. On Passmark baselines, a Dell Precision M4800 with an i7-4910MQ, Quadro K2100M, Samsung 840 Evo 1TB, 16GB RAM:

Passmark Rating = 3804 > CPU= 10231 / 2D= 959 / 3D=1020 / Mem= 2487 / Disk= 4871

In similar systems, an M4800 as above but with 32GB RAM scored 2569 in Memory.

A Precision M6800 (17.3" screen) with i7-4800MQ (2.7 / 3.7GHz), 8GB RAM, AMD M5100, Toshiba 250GB SSD""

Passmark Rating = 4174 CPU= 8860 / 2D= 874 / 3D=2871 / Mem= 2099 / Disk= 4159

W5100 scores in 2D varied from 758 to 878 and 3D varied from 1829 to 2871.
