I want to build a Gaming PC. I've never built one before and I have a few questions I would like to ask about it. Also maybe some ideas on some systems.

Opps yeah sorry. I was wondering about the rig I was going to build. I've seen many ideas on here but none answer my question. Once all parts are bought that people put on here do I then need to buy the cables to? do they come with the items I.E harddrive does it come with the sata cables?

I have a few ideas on the build but cant make my mind up. I want a Intel processor i5 or i7 SSD and also would need OS keyboard and mouse. No monitor needed with a budget of around 700 - 900 Pounds

Why such a powerful CPU coupled with a low profile video card, if you intend to game, there's so much more you can do with that budget.

Yeah I would like to use it for gaming, browsing, youtube etc.. I'm not a big gamer on the PC thus far, due to low specs on current PC i guess, Use my xbox one mainly, That said I would like to start so if i get a game I want it to be able to handle most games. Again I'd like to link up the PC to my TV also so i can stream films etc.. from one room to the next not sure if that info helps.

I do like this build that Silver put up here. Extra thing needed is a optical drive the one i got abit out dated. Apart from that looks good

Thanks, yeah I didn't include an optical drive or mouse and keyboard because you can pick them up relatively cheap at a local computer store. DVD drives are pretty reliable now days even if you go with one of the cheap ones.

Think I'll use that as a base line thanks. More than likely visit scan for all parts as its a stone throw away and also they could assist if i hit any trouble as its my first build. Thanks :)

No prob, hope you have fun with the build.
