So i want to buy a laptop. I am living in Greece. Its for home using purposes, meaning a little light gaming, a lot of surfing and some word and excel uses. I dont care about the size of it. I am hoping for a 1980x1060 resolution, but its not that important to me. I want it to have 8gb ram (cause i think 4 ram isnt enough). A base 128 gb SSD. A simple dvd rom optical drive would be fine i guess. A good CPU preferably intel and a mediocre GPU, as i said light gaming. Moreover i want the battery to have a good span of 6-8 hours of life at least (or however it is called) and i want to keep it for a long time. Lastly i want it to be up to 400Euros. (or around there if possible)

I found some searching but i dont know if they are worth it:

I know some of them dont even cross out my criteria but was thinking if they are worth their price. If you have anything better to offer on laptops or buying sites dont hesitate. (HP, Toshiba, Acer, etc. everything is fine as long as you can tell me that its good for my use. But having done some research HP is the most recommended)

Darksky A3 is a Chinese laptop and is a new release. Because of this there's very little information as to how well it's constructed or how dependable it is.

Considering the price and what you said you will be using it for it should meet your needs. Don't expect it to be super fast, especially running Windows 10. In all honesty, considering the processor it uses, it will probably be kinda sluggish running Windows 10. Windows uses so many resources there's not much left for the apps or any software you might want to run.

Since price seems to be a major consideration for you. it's going to be hard to beat the Darksky A3 and what's included for that price. How well it's made and how reliable it is is anybody's guess at this time. Being...
When it come to computers and laptops you can get the most "bang" for the buck at ebay.com (cheapest price).

Amazon is not a good site for computers (as far as the price is concerned), Neither is negegg.com. Both sites are way over priced for electronics. Ebay is the cheapest bar none. I sell on all 3 suites and am speaking from 7 years selling experience with Amazon and ebay.

That's a tough one. It really comes down to personal preference. If your looking for a quality laptop that will provide many hours of good reliable service then I would suggest an HP or Dell. Both make a quality laptop, no cheap shoddy workmanship.

If you willing to spend a little more then Apple MacBook. Apple makes a quality laptop, no questions asked. Only problem I have with the new Apple computers is they have made a change in their computers where everything is now proprietary. Basically what that means is if you ever have a problem you HAVE take it to a certified Apple repair business for any repairs.

Even the Hard drives are now "computer" linked. What I mean by that is if you want to upgrade your HD to something larger you MUST get the HD from a certified Apple repair business or from Apple direct. Apple has changed their HD's so they now contain part of the firmware for the machine they come in (it used to be on a chip on the logic board). Even an Apple HD from a different machine will no longer work, just the one that came in that machine or one that you buy from one of their dealers. As good as Apple is I would not recommend anyone buy a new Apple computer until Apple backs off the new "propriety" hardware direction they have taken. If you ever have a problem it will cost a small fortune to get fixed.

You really have to figure out what you are looking for in a laptop. Then, when you find one you are thinking about, do a Google search for that laptop and add reviews to the end of the search tag.

Hope his helps

Yeah i ll search but i cant find sth with 4-8 gb ram and ssd instead of hdd under 400 euros thats the thing. i have searched a lot. but still i cant find those 2 together under 400. Then i cant find a decent processor around 2ghz on top of it too. Maybe i am asking too much.

One consideration is the back cover is made from plastic, not metal and could be an issue over time

If it was me and my funds were seriously limited, I would probably take a chance and by it.

Good luck
