I am going to create a new network for 100 user for 3rd flooring building, I need suggestion which switch is better and how many switches required, and what type of connectivity fiber/cat6 is recommended for switch to switch?

No way to really guess. All this really does is lead to many more questions since it is based on traffic patterns and user layout. If the users are all close and you can terminate all the cables in one room then you buy 1 large switch with more that 100 ports and you are done. Now if the cables are terminated in multiple different locations mostly because they exceed the 100m distance to the users then you need more switches. But the issue when you have multiple switches is that you now have to calculate the uplink speeds between them...unlike a single switch that uses the backplane. Do you need 1g,10g etc etc. This also dictates the type of fiber and/or ethernet cable since 10g needs at least cat6a cable and many times special fiber cable also. It goes on and on there is no simple answer....unless you can just buy 1 big switch.

Knowing all the correct questions to ask is why a network professional will charge you to design networks like this.

thanks bill, but these 100 user are divided into 3 floor in a building, I want to use 24port 2 switches in every floor so can you suggest me which switch is better here? and can I use fiber uplinks between two switchs.

We generally use cisco 2960g or HP 3500 series. There are fully managed switches and the HP ones are layer3. Both vendors have many other lines of switch depending on your needs.

Unless you have distance problem use copper rather than fiber. It is cheaper and much less susceptible to damage. The only time I would recommend fiber is if you intended link your switches with 10g
