Want to get a SSD

Hi i have a question. I want to get a SSD pretty much title says it all. But i cant decide which one to get. I want to put my windows operating system. I have windows 7. Plus im a heavy mmo gamer and want to put my games on them. I also have the obsidian 800D tower and not sure if its compatible with sata 3 drives.

I want to get dual these: OCZ Vertex 4 VTX4-25SAT3-256G 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Or get a single one of this: OCZ Vertex 4 VTX4-25SAT3-512G.M 2.5" 512GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Usually as you go up in size the SSD's read/write specs are faster. Unless you intend to mirror the 2x256 I would get the 512 assuming you can afford it.

Your tower doesnt matter but the motherboard does on the sata 3 question.

OCZ drives can be iffy. Safer bet is samsung 840 pro.

As far as how much space you need, a single 256gb drive will hold the OS and five 30gb-sized games with room left over for the ssd to take care of self-maintenance.

Which ever one you get, update its firmware before anyhting, then do a clean install of windows and run the OS optimizer that comes with the ssd.
