Want to increase ram in a M6700 laptop

Hi Folks,

Just bought a Dell M6700 laptop from Dells outlet.

Going into the deal I knew I would increase ram and add a internal HD

System has
Processor: Intel Core 3rd Generation i7-3840QM Processor 2.8GHz, 8M cache,
4.0GB, DDR3-1866MHz SDRAM, 2 DIMMS
256GB 2.5 inch (SATA3) Mobility Solid State Drive

Question 1) Can I use 2 ~ 8GB 1600 MHz or will I be losing performance if not using 2 ~ 1866 instead of 1600MHz.
Also which brand would you recommend Corsair Vegence 16Gb or G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB

Question 2) I would also like to add a second 1 TB HD for data storage.
Will this work.

Desregard that last message. You can use two 8GB @ 1866mhz or @1600mhz. MAKE sure it is laptop memory, the two brands you listed above are DESKTOP memory. Which will not work. Here is a memory kit that you should use. http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=841D7D5FA5CA7304
