Want to know maximum Harddisk capacity of my PC

I want to know maximum Harddisk size support for my PC .
My Desktop pc configuration is:
Pentium 4, and 2.40GHz
512 MB of RAM,
Motherboard:esonic 865BC.

80GB to 500GB is the maximum I'd put into that machine, anything more than that and I'll start having issues with the rig slowing down immensely with seek times and file transfers.
PS: Even the 500GB HDD should be portioned into 100,200,200 GB section, or 150, 150, 150, and whatever is left... should be about 70Gb.
