hi everbody.....just a simple question.. does anyone know how to format the computer or laptop using usb...i want to know the software that can use to format the computer...i want to format using windows xp..thanks...

Wait, do you want to format the USB drive? Or do you want to format the computer? The way you phrased your question is confusing.

If you want to format the HD of your computer, use GParted. Run it from CD or USB and use that to format the HD. Actually, you can also use GParted to format a USB drive.

Right click on the drive and click on format! If you want to partition the drive as well then you need to use Disk Management found in Control panel, Administrative Tools, Computer Management, disk Management.

Are you planning to install a new OS? Windows Vista/7 offers formatting tools using their installers. Even XP can format using the XP installer. It asks you where to install XP, then you can simply delete all partitions and make new ones.
