Hi, I'm in a big pickle. So one of the first games I installed on my pc was Ori and the Blind forest, and after two months playing the game I've put in quite some dedication in it, but the problem isn't the game, it's that without realising it, I installed it on an EXTERNAL HARDDRIVE! I want to move the game onto my pc's local hdd, but I'm afraid of losing my progress in the game. Do I just "cut&paste" it on my local hdd or will that screw something up? Please help!!!

Solution
Your save games should be here by default: C:/Users(Your Username)/AppData/Local/Ori and the Blind Forest
Copy everything in that folder somewhere safe. Then reinstall the game on your C: drive (assuming this is your main hard drive).
It may even recognize your save games already, if not, shut down the game and copy the contents you copied earlier back into the C:/Users(Your Username)/AppData/Local/Ori and the Blind Forest folder and the game should now see your progress.
Well....I have heard that cutting and pasting sometimes works. I have concerns over this....so I don't do it.

What I would do is find the game's "save files" on your external drive. These are the files your game is saved in.

Then install the game on the drive that you want....and move the save files into the appropriate directory on the new drive.
