[SOLVED] Want to move sata HDD with W10 (upgraded from W7) from old sandy bridge board to B560M board. But W10 is installed as mbr.

Want to move sata HDD with W10 (upgraded from W7) from old sandy bridge board to B560M board. But W10 is installed as mbr. Will setting CSM mode in BIOS let me install this drive as boot drive or do I have to change W10 to gbr before I swap?

better yet is to get a ssd.

I would do a clean installation of Windows with a change of hardware platform across so many generations.
