I know a little about gaming PCs. Can someone give me an advice? I want to run NBA 2K16 in max settings. What part should I upgrade?

Here's my PC setup. It's a bit old. Bought it last 2011.

Mother Board: Gigabyte GA 78 LMT S2P
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 640
RAM: DDR3 8 GB
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 6850

Please help. Thanks! :)

The Radeon R9 380 is a good mid range option for around $200. You probably wouldn't benefit from a CPU upgrade, and you could try 16Gb RAM if you want to improve your multitasking or normal computer use.

Of course the cheapest would do. If I upgrade a GPU or RAM or I don't know which I should upgrade and the game runs smoothly then I would settle for that. Cheapest option is still the way to go for me. :)

I think in your case a Radeon 380 or Nvidia 960 will represent a leap of an upgrade and certainly let you dial up the settings of the game without having to spend too much money.

I don't think you need to worry about RAM (as 8GB more will have zero affect on your desktop/normal usage) and CPU upgrades, mean a new mobo etc.

Just to be safe, what is your powersupply make, model and wattage?
