I've decided Im finally going to upgrade from 7 to 10 today, however, my only issue is the unavailability of a driver for my usb wifi adapter(Rosewill model, only vista/7/8.1 drivers are available).

I was forced to reverse my previous upgrade attempt due to this driver issue, is there any way I can use older drivers on 10? Like with compatability mode?

No I do not have ethernet and can only use wifi. I would really like to upgrade for DX12, but I can't if I dont have internet access.

Solution
How long ago did you try to use the Wifi adapter? I had 4 different "works on win 7/8 and "dead" on win 10 adapters 6 months ago. Now 3 of them work in Win10 -- new adapter drivers keep getting added, and the 5ghz range works on the dual band adapters. (netgear stuff mostly)

Rosewill does not make adapters, they buy and brand them so you need to know who made the adapter to see if someone is working on new win1o drivers.

My solution at the time was to go buy a new set of network adapters that were known to work on win10.

P.s. for the linux fans out there, none of the adapters that failed on win10 worked on linux mint out of the box either.
