Want to upgrade my gpu to something newer

I'm currently using a GTX 550 ti and want to upgrade it to something newer, but i'm on a budget. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any budget graphics cards that can run games such as Battlefield 4 and other new games at good frame rates. Any feedback is appreciated

What's your budget then? You can get a GTX 970 for around $350, it is one of the newest and most popular GPUs.
