hello, i just want to have i7 8700 K, i'll tell you what my pc components are :

i7-4770 K
Cooler Master Seidon 240M CPU Water Liquid Cooling Kit - RL-S24M-24PK-R1
16 GB DDR3
G1.SNIPER 5 Z87 SOCKET 1150
Corsair HX Professional Series 750-Watt
Cooler Master Trooper - Full Tower
gtx 1080

now if i want to upgrade : CPU to i7 8700K and mobo to z370 and RAM to ddr4 16 GB ...

Do i need to change anything else ? compatible ?

Solution
Yes you will need a new SSD for the MOBO and a fresh Windows installation. If you feel confident, then with your upgrades, the only things you'll need to upgrade are the CPU, RAM and MOBO. Make sure you use a similar size MOBO that you currently have, so it can fit inside your case. Your power supply should be fine as well. Best of luck.
You are going to have to do a OS reinstall if you plan on using a different MOBO. You could delete all the drivers from your current OS so you can use the same storage device, but you might run into a lot of trouble doing so. Why are you upgrading anyway? I'd say the 4770k still has a lot of potential and power, even by today's standards for gaming, video rendering etc.

what kind of trouble ? and yes I did decide to change my components for several reasons.

Do i need to change anything else ? is it compatible ? do i need anther power supply ?

Trouble as in if something crashes, it will be very hard to pin point the problem. You are better off just reinstalling you OS from a brand new drive. I just did some research and honestly, its not worth upgrading to the 8700k. You'll have some performance gains, but not by much. If you still want to upgrade, then if your current power supply is not struggling, it's fine for the i7 8700k. You will need a new MOBO (make sure its the same size as your current one), Ram and storage drive. Everything else is fine.

sorry what do you mean by this ( reinstalling you OS from a brand new drive ). if i want to upgrade my components i would like to fresh rest all thing as a new start even windows i'll buy a new version.

what do you advice me to keep my old SSD ? i don't want to buy a new one. and sorry i am new for this.

When you install an OS onto an SSD/Harddrive that is connected to a certain Mother board, it installs drivers and software for that MOBO model so windows and other components can better communicate with the board. You can swap it out with the exact same board, as those drivers are essentially the same. But as far as getting a new MOBO that is a completely different model, you'll need to reinstall windows to a different SSD.

Since you are new to this, the current components you have are quite powerful for almost anything you can do. Video rendering, gaming, editing videos etc. You'll spend a lot of money on just parts alone, and maybe get a 10-20% boost in performance. And with the money that you will be spending, its not worth it. I would wait until you get more experienced in PC building. There are plenty of videos on YouTube that can teach you these sort of things.

So i need to buy a new SSD for the new MOBO ? because eventually I will change my MOBO and CPU and RAM.

You mention that my current components i have are quite powerful for almost anything you can do. you are right but because that i have a new 144hz monitor so there is no way that this current build handle the 144Hz monitor with some games ultra sittings that's why i am into changing my stuff and other reasons that even with OC my current CPU to 4.4 some games can't reach 144 fps and some of them even 70 fps maximum. with the new RAM ddr4 3000 even some games will gain 40 to 50 % performance.

i did my research about my new build and it turned out that those components is my desire performance.
