want to upgrade old rack

what can i do to it and not spend more than 300 dlls to run games decently. should i get a new pc instead?

What is your CPU exactly? Get CPUZ http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
What is your RAM exactly, you can get this info from CPUZ as well.
Are you OK to buy from eBay?
What is your skill level in replacing parts - novice (need complete guidance, don't know how RAM or GPU slots looks like), intermediate (changed some PC parts already, easy to understand and follow directions), expert (need only suggestions and vague directions).

If you will have to build new PC yourself, you have to be at least intermediate and willing to accept failure due to lack of knowledge, and redo all again if necessary.
