Hi. I have Windows 10 Pro 32 bit installed on my computer and want to upgrade to 64 bit. When checking system type in the System dialogue, I get "32-bit Operating System, x64-based processor," which tells me I should be okay for upgrading to 64-bit Windows 10. However, in Device Manager, under the Computer dropdown, I notice I get "ACPI x86-based PC". Just wanted to know if that info from Device Manager is a cause for concern in terms of upgrading, as the System window is telling me one thing but Device Manager is telling me something else.

Thanks.

Solution
Right.
A 64bit processor, and 32bit OS installed.

Unfortunately, changing to the 64bit OS is a full wipe and reinstall.
Not simply an "upgrade".

Thanks. Yeah, I thought so. But just wanted to be sure.
