Want to use a 2nd gpu in my cpu but don't know how to do that

Guys please help me out on this.
I have a Intel extreme series DP67BG Motherboard and a Geforce Gtx 560ti amp edition 1GB DDR5 256 bit graphics card.Have 8GB RAM and Intel i7 2600 processor.Now I want to add a 2nd graphics card in my Cpu using nvidia sli technology.The reason for adding a 2nd gpu in my system is to play game in maxed out.When I bought my Geforce Gtx 560ti graphics card then I used to play games at maxed out but now gaming graphics is so developed so my gpu isn't good enough to enable maximum settings for games.Now I don't have a vast knowledge about SLI technology.I have a 2 way SLI connector came with my motherboard.First of all tell me whether I can add a 2nd graphics card in my Cpu or not.Then tell me what to do about it means every details.Now if I can then I must tell you that I'm willing to buy a more powerful gpu then my existing Geforce Gtx 560 ti.So suggest me a powerful gpu that I can connect in my cpu with my existing gpu and that can enable me to play games at maxed out.How can I set that 2nd gpu.What softwares I will have to use for this.What changes I'll have to do in my cpu to get best gaming experience means just give me every details.Tell me whether I have to add any other pc peripherals.I have cooler master 600 smps and a LG E2260V full HD monitor.I rely on you guys very much And I know You technical geniuses can help me out from this.So please reply me ASAP.

Your motherboard should have the ability to add a second card in sli.
But, that card must be the same as your existing card, meaning you would need to buy a second GTX560ti amp.
If you did not buy a amp edition, sli would run both cards at te speed of the slower.
Next, you would need 650w or possibly more for your psu. coolermaster quality is iffy and may not deliver advertised power.
sli brings more stuttering and screen tearing. Some games do not support sli well.
Bottom line-----------------------
Sell your current card in favor of a single strong card.
You can run a GTX780 using your psu.
