Hi

I want to rebuild an old PC mainly for video editing purpose. My budget is a bit on the lower side and the components I've selected seems to be within my range. I just want to know if the parts I've selected will be compatible with each other.

Motherboard = Gigabyte B85M-DS3H Motherboard
CPU = Intel Core i5-4460 Processor 6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz
RAM = Kingston FURY Memory - 8GB Module - DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM
Graphics Card = ZOTAC NVIDIA GT 730 2GB 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card

PSU = Antec Basiq Series VP550P 550W Power Supply (This might be an overkill but I already have a spare one with me)

HDD = Samsung 160 GB SATA2 7200rpm 8 MB Hard Drive Bulk HD161HJ (The HDD I'm basically just taking it from my old PC. Planning on using it along with my external HDD) OR should I simply just upgrade to a 1TB HDD of WD or this 500GB HDD (Just let me know if the HDD will be compatible for the build)

if you can, do let me know if these parts will be compatible with each other. I'll be very grateful to you. :)

Solution
That looks like everything would be compatible. You can keep that 160gb, as an OS drive, and use an internal 1tb, for storage, if you want. PCpartpicker is a good way to check compatibility as well. It will flag potential issues. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/
