The A-400 is a new camera and Canon does not list the power adapter kit yet.

This is the power adapter that is right for the other Canon A series
cameras. The Canon A310 uses the same power adapter. It should work fine.

The Canon Kits are these:
Compact Power Adapter (CA-PS800) - AC Adapter Kit ACK800

The Canon Powershot A310 uses the same power adapter. (CA-PS800)
